Welcome to the Yardley Netball League Website
Netball for Everyone
A welcoming grassroots netball league supporting players across Derbyshire since 1993.
Welcome to Yardley Netball
The Yardley Netball League is a grassroots league covering Derbyshire. It was originally started with just four teams in 1993 and was created to provide a safe, non-threatening environment for players returning to netball to enjoy the game and develop as players.
Over the years the league has grown and developed and now has a senior section and a junior section. The thinking behind the league remains the same, with Derbyshire Netball committed to providing a league that allows players to develop.
Junior
Supporting younger players as they develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of netball.
Senior
Grassroots senior netball in a welcoming environment where players can compete and continue developing.
Open
Bridging the gap between the grassroots ethos of Yardley and more competitive leagues such as the DANA League.
Something for every level
As well as Junior and Senior sections, the Yardley League also hosts an Open section which bridges the gap between the grassroots ethos of the general Yardley League and more competitive leagues such as DANA League.
Everyone is welcome
The league welcomes enquiries from all — whether you're interested in training, playing, coaching, umpiring, sponsoring or simply supporting netball in Derbyshire.
